Are you training properly?

Most surfers plateau because their practice has no system.

Practising without a clear focus

Paddling out without a single thing to work on turns surfing into reps. Without a goal and a feedback loop, time in the water stops compounding.

Guessing what to work on

After a wave, most surfers go off feel rather than facts. Without video or a coach’s eye, it’s hard to know what actually caused the wipeout.

No structured progression

Random sessions in random conditions don’t add up to real change. Skill needs reps in the right order, not just reps.

Hoping it improves over time

More years in the water doesn’t automatically mean better surfing — without correction, the same bad habits get more deeply grooved in.

Stories from the crew

Real surfers, real progress.

"So happy with my Cutback!"

I progressed more in 3 days then in 3 years of weekend surfs in the ocean. I'm super happy with the progress I made at the wavepool camp and am booked for another one already.

"Stopping missing waves"

I was a little tentative to start with and got a bit frustrated missing a few waves but Craig sorted that out instantly. I started catching every wave, building confidence and got on to focusing on my turns which is what I really wanted to work on. Fantastic coach.

FAQs

The honest answers.

What level should I be?+
Camps are matched to a band of Surf Scores so the crew is on the same arc as you. The booking page tells you which level the camp is aimed at — if in doubt, take the 2-min suitability test.
What’s included in the price?+
In-water coaching, video analysis, briefings + debriefs, and a 30-day follow-up plan. Travel, accommodation and food are listed per camp.
How does the deposit work?+
Tiers that accept a deposit charge 30% today to secure your spot. The remaining balance is due before the camp starts — we’ll email you when it’s due.
Can I cancel?+
Yes. Free cancellation up to 14 days before the camp. Within 14 days, deposits aren’t refundable but we’ll happily transfer your spot to someone else.
Will it sell out?+
Most camps do. Numbers are capped per coach so the experience is high-quality — once a tier is full, it falls off the page and we open the waitlist.
