2 more days with the 5 x Scottish National Surfing Champ
Paddling out without a single thing to work on turns surfing into reps. Without a goal and a feedback loop, time in the water stops compounding.
After a wave, most surfers go off feel rather than facts. Without video or a coach’s eye, it’s hard to know what actually caused the wipeout.
Random sessions in random conditions don’t add up to real change. Skill needs reps in the right order, not just reps.
More years in the water doesn’t automatically mean better surfing — without correction, the same bad habits get more deeply grooved in.
I progressed more in 3 days then in 3 years of weekend surfs in the ocean. I'm super happy with the progress I made at the wavepool camp and am booked for another one already.

I was a little tentative to start with and got a bit frustrated missing a few waves but Craig sorted that out instantly. I started catching every wave, building confidence and got on to focusing on my turns which is what I really wanted to work on. Fantastic coach.
